Coverage began the next afternoon: the earliest report we could verify appeared at 14:47 IST on 5 November, and nine verified reports in four languages followed by 21:11 IST. Items we saw only in news indexes are marked with a dashed marker and the label Indexed, not verified. Red markers are the turning points of the story.

Notes
How should this timeline be read?
Why do view counts differ between reports?
Most reports say the video had more than 300,000 views; India Today, published at 16:12 IST, says it had crossed 340,000. These are snapshots taken at different moments of a fast-moving count, not a contradiction. None of them is a current figure.
Is the 11,000+ figure part of the timeline?
Only as a company statement reported on 5 November. Seven reports carry it, attributed to Influish, and none checked it independently. We do not know when the company counted.
Why does the timeline start on 4 November and not earlier?
Because nothing earlier relates to this posting. A different company’s “doomscroller” job is sometimes confused with it: on 25 August 2025, Storyboard18 reported that Monk Entertainment (Monk-E), a Mumbai media and talent company, was recruiting doomscrollers through a LinkedIn post by its co-founder and CEO, Viraj Sheth. That is background only and not part of the Influish story.
